The location was unbelievably convenient, just a stone's throw away from the train station and shopping area. As a first-time hostel goer, I was blown away by how much better than expected everything was. The room and common areas were impeccably clean and comfortable. The staff was so helpful and provided all the information we needed, even responding to our emails promptly. We also loved that there was a local hawker market nearby, where we enjoyed some delicious local food. Despite the lack of an elevator, the staff offered to help carry our luggage, although we managed just fine. The best surprise was the bath and toilet, which miraculously dried up overnight. We didn't get to try the food at the hostel's restaurant due to renovations, but maybe next time!

after a previous stay in bangkok, i was pleasantly surprised by how amazing folk poshtel asok was for a few days of relaxation. the friendly staff, cleanliness, and delicious food made me feel right at home.

The rooms at Folk Poshtel Asok are cozy and comfortable, perfect for budget travelers like me. I loved the seating area and flat-screen TV with cable channels, which kept me entertained during my downtime. The privacy curtain added a nice touch for some extra privacy.

Personally, I found the soundproofing in the double room a bit lacking. But hey, it's just my opinion, and others might not mind it at all!
